What If … You Could Deduct Half Of Your Annual Gas Expense As A Tax Credit On Your Tax Return
Most of us have two things in common: we buy lots of expensive gas, and we file an annual tax return.
How would you like to be able to deduct half of your annual gas expense on your tax return?
As a concerned taxpayer, we invite you to join in our efforts to contact the President and your Senators and Representatives, asking them to allow us to deduct half of what we spend each year on gas as a gas tax credit. You are one of 153 Million taxpayers, and if you help get such an authorization passed, you will in effect be putting money back in your pocket each year, and helping invigorate our ailing economy.
Driving 12,000 miles a year at 25 miles to the gallon, with gas at $2.50 a gallon, you are paying $1,200 a year for gas. With a gas tax credit of half of your annual gas expense, you would be able to pay $600 less in taxes.
If you’re paying around $1,000 a year in income tax, being able to use half of what you paid for gas would give you a tax credit of $600 (or half of the $1,200 you paid for gas). Now, instead of paying $1,000 in taxes, your tax is down to $400. That other $600 stays in your pocket for other needs.
So, you have a tax savings of about $600. Here is where it gets really neat. There are another 153 Million taxpayers in the US. And most of them also buy and pay for their own gas. Multiply your tax savings by, let’s say 100 Million other taxpayers (not everyone drives their own car) and you can see that there is a potential multi-Billions of dollars available to re-invigorate our all but depressed economy.
Here’s a program that really comes together for everyone’s benefit. You get cash back in your pocket, and by having more to spend, our corporations and independent businesses get needed sales, which means more profits, which means they need to hire more people to fill the new orders and make more inventory out of raw materials, which means more sales and more business profits, which means business pays more in corporate taxes.
More information and details are available at the Internet website located at gastaxcreditprogram.com so please feel free to visit. Oh, there are no membership fees, no request for donations, just a simple request for you to evaluate the program and if you think it is worth-while to put extra money in your pocket and to help save our failing economy (due to nobody being willing to buy anything beyond the bare necessities), then by all means send an email to the President and your Senators and Representatives. You will even find the links for the White House and Congress so you can send out your emails.
